Devices that come with cords are being purchased by more people. Nearly every Bullhead City home holds a mixture of cell phones, lap tops, and iPods, which require a mixture of unsightly cords. Furniture with power strips, USB ports, and phone and Internet jacks are built right in are now being built by many companies. From nightstands to work tables to coffee tables, power sources can be concealed anywhere.
One challenge that come with bringing power to nightstands and coffee tables is staying away from spills. Can we keep liquids away from the coffee table, just as we are used to keeping them away from the keyboard? We must proceed with caution until cell phones and laptops are made water resistant. This style of furniture is thought of as a luxury, but should soon become standard.
