There is a new trend in buying Bullhead City real estate . The majority of new homeowners are young, single women. Actually, there was a 6 percent rise in female buyers between 2001 and 2005.
The majority of young singles are looking for secure neighborhoods, close proximity to entertainment and nightlife, and affordability. Much more of the buying market consists of recent immigrants and minorities. In order to build equity so that a larger home can be purchased, many are starting off with condos. Finally, retirees and empty-nesters are downsizing and migrating to like-minded communities. They would rather live in smaller homes, close to friends and entertainment.
